Bio: Glen began lessons from a young age. He traveled extensively with his own Show Bands.
His Bands opened for name groups such as Earth, Wind and Fire, Elvin Bishop, Blood Sweat and Tears to name a few. Glen was also a musician in Los Angeles and studied with Joe Pocaro, Jim Chapin, and Chuck Brown. Glen began teaching in El Dorado County in 1988 volunteering his time at local high schools. Eventually teaching at all four local high schools with award winning drum lines.
Method: Glen believes in teaching his students self-discipline, structure, sight-reading, technique and improvising. He has encouraged and helped students audition and make it into several noted Universities. Glen also believes that enjoying your instrument is the most important thing.
Bio: Rosalee began taking piano lessons at an early age, continuing through high school and college. She has played in classical orchestras, musicals, jazz bands, and performed solo at weddings and restaurants.
"I believe all students should have a strong foundation in music fundamentals and instrumental techniques to grow", she said. "Self-discipline, sight-reading, music theory and creativity are encouraged."
She has been teaching for more than 35 years and began teaching privately in El Dorado County in 1987, opening in Cameron Park Music in 1989, becoming Sabado School of Music in 2006. She is currently the music director for Faith Episcopal Church in Cameron Park.

Rosalee Mears Sabado
Bio: Roy Fulmer received a B.A. in Music from California State University at Long Beach in 1969. He received a M.A. in Instruction and Curriculum from Chapman College. Roy began his teaching career (1971-2006) as the band Director at Ponderosa and El Dorado High Schools in 1970. From 1972 -2006 he was the Band Director and Instrumental Music Instructor at Ponderosa High School. Roy retired in 2006. Roy is currently the Director of the Sierra Symphony in El Dorado County.
Bio: Chris graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London with a LRAM in Violin and Cello. Chris also studied Piano and Piano accompaniment. Chris has taught Strings individually an as group classes throughout the United States. Chris has coached cello with the Junior Music Symphony Orchestra of Sacramento and sat on the committee of the Youth Orchestra as well as teaching privately.
Bio: Jennifer Welch has been teaching voice and piano lessons at Sabado School of Music sine 1996. She began taking piano lessons at age 8 and never stopped until she herself became a teacher. She began singing in her church choir as a child and participated in children's musicals. In high school she played piano and sang for her church worship service weekly as well as directed children's musicals. She went on to attend Simpson College where she also led worship services and sang in choirs that tutored the country. Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Simpson College with a degree in Music Education and an emphasis in piano and voice. In recent years she has led worship for her church's women's ministry group and co-directed children's musicals. Jennifer's piano teaching includes: music theory, sight-reading, technique, ear training, and chord chart playing. She includes various music styles from classical to contemporary. Jennifer's voice teaching includes sight singing and technique, which is individually tailored to each student's needs. She teaches a variety of music including classical, musical theatre, gospel, and contemporary.
Jennifer lives in Placerville with her husband, who is also a musician, and her two teenage children, whom she homeschooled for junior high school. When not teaching, Jennifer can be found looking for things her family has lost, spying on teenage conversations, reading books, secretly trying to figure out everyone's MBTI personality through casual conversation, knitting crocheting, looking up how to craft things in Minecraft, and pinning things she'll never do on Pinterest.
Method: Vocally Jennifer teaches sight reading, Vocal care, Diction, Singing harmony and expanding you range and performance while singing a variety of music. In Piano Jennifer emphasizes rhythms, note reading, and technique while using a variety of classical and modern music.
Bio: Jim Murry is a highly experienced music instructor who has been teaching guitar and electric bass since 1989. Over his 15+ years of teaching at Sabado Schoolof Music he has truly inspired scores of budding musicians.
Jim studied music theory as well as jazz and commercial music performance at ARC. He made a name for himself on the Sacramento music scene performing in multiple Sammy nominated groups. Jim toured extensively and has opened jazz guitar great John Scofield, as well as avant garde guitar legend John Fahey.
Method: Jim loves teaching people of all ages and experience levels.
